Filippo Armaleo meets the students at IC Oregina: “Scherma, a sport for mind and body”
Filippo Armaleo, as part of the “Una Classe di Valori” format organized by Stelle nello Sport, had the opportunity to meet with five classes from the Oregina Middle School, along with a lively fifth-grade class. The event turned out to be a special opportunity to introduce young people to the world of sports and convey important educational values.
During the meeting, the students asked many questions to the young fencing talent, showing great curiosity and interest in this fascinating discipline. Armaleo, an athlete of the Fiamme Azzurre team who grew up in the prestigious SSD Cesare Pompilio, answered enthusiastically, sharing personal anecdotes, sports experiences, and valuable advice for those wishing to pursue a sports career.
In addition to sharing his journey, Filippo presented the European Fencing Championships, scheduled from June 14 to 19 at the picturesque venues of Jean Nouvel and Palasport in Genoa. With a warm invitation, he encouraged the more than 140 students present to attend the event to experience the thrill of fencing up close and discover the secrets of a discipline that requires technique, focus, and passion.
