Fencing “on display” at Euroflora. Countdown to the European Championships.
The “Genoa 2025” European Fencing Championships will take center stage at Euroflora, the 13th International Flower and Ornamental Plant Exhibition, which opens today and will be open to visitors from April 24 to May 4 in the areas of the Levante Waterfront.
The new Palasport and the Jean Nouvel Pavilion will host the Senior European Fencing Championships from June 14 to 19, featuring all the stars of Paris 2024. Euroflora thus represents another key milestone on the road to the most important sporting event in Liguria in 2025, as it celebrates its title of European Region of Sport.
The Genoa 2025 Organizing Committee has set up an area in Piazzale Kennedy (stand K70) where flowers and fencing will take center stage. Tickets for the European Championships can also be purchased directly at the stand, and on April 29, Luigi Mazzone, President of the Italian Fencing Federation, will be the guest of honor.
This will be a chance to meet institutional and sports authorities and to take stock of Italian fencing and the upcoming European Championships in Genoa, just 45 days before the first bout of the continental event — the third most important fencing competition in the world after the Olympics and World Championships.
