The Organizing Committee of the European Fencing Championships invites all sports and fencing enthusiasts to attend “Fencing in Piazza”, taking place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 6:30 PM in Piazza Matteotti, Chiavari.

The event will be enriched by the extraordinary presence of Olympic champion Giulia Rizzi, winner of the Gold Medal in Women’s Team Épée at the Paris 2024 Olympics. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate this incredible sporting achievement and to witness top-level fencing exhibitions.

The initiative, organized in collaboration with the Liguria Regional Committee of the Italian Fencing Federation (FIS) and under the patronage of the Municipality of Chiavari, is part of the lead-up to the European Fencing Championships Genova 2025, continuing to promote fencing and its values throughout Liguria.
