One hundred days until the European Championships “Genoa 2025.” Students and fencing clubs in Piazza De Ferrari with a flash mob.

This morning, the Organizing Committee of the European Fencing Championships “Genoa 2025” officially launched the 100-day countdown in Piazza De Ferrari with a special flash mob. The main feature of the morning was the “Garaventa Gallo” School with its 60 students, together with some athletes from the FIS Liguria fencing clubs. It was a special experience for the Primary School children, marking the final step of a learning journey in the discipline. A fascinating and spectacular moment, a new step towards the continental event hosted from June 14 to 19 at the Jean Nouvel and Palasport venues.

The event was attended by the president of Federscherma Liguria, Giovanni Falcini, and the regional sports councilor, Simona Ferro.

From today, tickets for the European Championships are on sale on Vivaticket (white label link: https://efcgenova2025.vivaticket.it/). Prices range from 7 to 20 euros. There are two separate tickets available: one for the Jean Nouvel, where the eliminations will take place, and another for the Palasport, where the finals will be held. The audience will have the opportunity to admire and applaud the best 450 athletes from 45 nations. This will be the first step for the Italian National Fencing Team, the most decorated in Italian Olympic sport, on its journey to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
